2. What data and why
- Booking and stay: contact details, dates and details of your stay, and for the deposit payment the payer’s name and account. We need them to handle your booking, payment and stay and to send you e-mails about your booking, including practical information before arrival (performance of a contract). Without them we cannot accept a booking. We also keep payments as accounting records (legal obligation).
- Thank-you after your stay: the day after departure we send you one e-mail asking for a review (legitimate interest). If you don’t want it, just let us know.
- Communication: e-mails and phone calls, so that we can answer your questions.
- Visiting the website: technical data, such as your IP address, needed to deliver and protect the website, and anonymous visitor statistics. These store nothing on your device and do not track you (legitimate interest).
3. Who we share data with
Only services without which bookings would not work: Cloudflare (running the website, the database is stored in the EU), Resend (sending e-mails), Google (our Gmail mailbox) and Fio banka (our bank account). For Cloudflare, Resend and Google, based in the USA, the transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep data
A booking that expired without payment is deleted within a month. Other bookings and payments are kept for 3 years after the end of the stay, while claims under the contract may arise. Accounting records are kept as long as the law requires.
5. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to rezervace@chalupa-pohoda.eu. You can lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (opens in a new window).
6. Cookies
The website does not use cookies. If you switch between the light and dark appearance, only your browser remembers your choice.
